1. Figure out what your “maintain weight” calories are and eat 500 calories LESS than that number every day. 2. Exercise for at least 30 minutes, 5x/week. 3. Drink water! Divide your weight in half and drink that number in ounces of water every day. (4. Make healthier choices as you go along and get better at doing steps 1-3.) I went raw for 34 days which was a loss of 26 pounds. But that’s because I wanted to get it done quickly. Now I have 15 pounds I’d like to lose and am doing it by eating what I want but watching my calories in vs. calories burned. It’ll take longer but I couldn’t do the raw much longer without going nutty.

Three years ago I read that one of the best ways to lose weight was to chew all food thoroughly and never gobble as we all tend to do. This simple act has worked like a charm for me. The act of chewing burns up calories and an added bonus is that your food tastes better. This applies to naughty foods as well as healthy foods. I will never look at other diets again.

Alright, I’ve been a personal trainer for the last 10 years so I figured I’d shed some light on how to lose fat.
Step 1: Educate yourself and stop falling for the scams. I recommend that all my clients read Kyle Leon’s program.

Now for some quick tips.
1) Cut carbs at night
2) Eat only natural foods (lean meats, fruits, veggies)
3) Do “HIIT” training
